Everyone knows my love for asian basketball players, Sun Yue, Tall guy from berkeley, etc. So I had to blog about this guy. First, he goes to Harvard, like where every Asian should be going to. Second, he didn't put up no Sun Yue type performance. He put up beastly numbers. He is better than Kobe or LBJ because they can only outplay you. Jeremy Lin is like a double threat, outsmart you or he can outplay you.

2008 had its memorable moments, but I'm looking forward to 2009. Instead of staying at home usually on a new year's eve day, I actually did something. How did I spend my first couple of hours of the New Years? I saw this movie.....

Yesterday was pretty cool. Met up with some homies and had some naan and curry. We sat next to some indians and they kept giggling and we were assuming they were giggling at us. Probably laughing because we weren't eating it correctly or something. After, we went to my house and watched some of that very exciting warriors vs lakers game. We only caught like the last five minutes but at least we got to see this guy score....

Statline: 6 minutes, 1 personal foul, 2 points. All of China probably went crazy after knowing this guy scored a bucket. All-Star game is right around the corner, Chinese people make sure to vote Sun Yue, Yi Jianlian, and Yao Ming on your all star ballots. Gotta rep them asians.

Feels Good to be Back

Finally, I am back to blog. Hopefully it will last longer. Been pretty busy with school and work that I had no time to blog. Now I have plenty of time and will blog again! I would go over my time gap between my last post to this post, but there are too many things to go over. Hopefully I will be able to blog daily or every other day. Many others made successful comebacks like Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson ,ok, not michael jackson, but yea hopefully I will come back as strong as MJ.

So so, this first blog is dedicated to the guy that thought could beat me at everything but wasn't able to defeat me. If I didn't beat him, this blog would probably be still dead. Lets recap at all the things I beat horseman in.
Friday: The Gathering of the Fellowship. Me and the Horse played this
:Horse talked a lot of trash saying how he will kill my team. I played him twice and he lost both games by two points in overtime. You may think 2 points is nothing, but a win is a win. This game was just an appetizer to our main dish on Sunday.

Sunday: A lot was said before this matchup in fantasy football. I wish it was for the championship game but I'll settle for 3rd place game. Horse blog readers would know how much trash he talked on his blog. How he will elbow drop my team and this and that. Well Sunday finally came and I demolish (beasted it) on his team. Horse= Perennial Loser. And since Horse lost, he can suck it hard. I wanted to blog Sunday but I didn't want to do any premature celebrations (Leslie Yuen putting her hands up assuming she beat Erik on a race back to fellowship but she lost on a pretty killer move by Erik.)

Ok, I guess its enough ragging on Horse. So many things to blog about but don't feel like blogging tonight. Maybe I will blog about my eventful pasts some other time.

So I haven' t been updating because of work and school. So when I blog, I will be blogging in the afternoon because that is the only time I'm free. Haven't been doing anything special. Went to the outlet in Petaluma and it was pretty weak. Only store that was good was nike. Shirts and shorts were like only 5-6 dollars. Good deal. Found a USA tee to match my China tee. There was also a Germany tee that looked pretty sick but who likes Germany anyways.

So I was watching the Phillies Dodgers game like it was another playoff game hoping the Phillies will win. All of a sudden, I see one of my heroes, Tiger Woods, is cheering for the Dodgers. I can't find a picture of him in his Dodgers gear but after his appearance on tv this evening his google (or blingo, which apparently is the new fad) pictures should be everywhere. Lost some respect for that guy......

It was my uncle birthday today and we went to jumbo restaurant. After the banquet on the walk home, my mom started talking to me about marriage and how I have to marry an Asian wife. After hearing what she had to say, I totally thought of Kev Jumba and his vlog.

Well today was my birthday. September 16 is also Mexican Independence Day. I would like to thank everyone for wishing me happy birthday. Thank You Thank You. Well today started as an ordinary day. Went to school, this and that......Then went to THE NORTH FACE OUTLET! It was a Sample Sale so there was even more SALES!!! It was my first Sample Sale and I did not know what to expect, and there were BOXES of stuff. I was so lost, I did not know where to start. I find this really neat red jacket so I thought it was possible. Then I saw the exact same jacket for less the price. Thank God for misprints!As you can tell the left tag is 50 and the right one is 80. I knew I had to snag the left one.

After North Face Outlet Round 1, we went to pick up Judy and Sammy from UC Berkeley, and went to North Face Outlet again for Round 2. I think everyone got something today. Sammy said he didn't want anything but he got stuff still. This time around, i got myself a beanie because it was only 5 dollars. I spent about 60 bucks total today on the two items but it was worth it.After, ate at the Dining Commons. Saw Darren Lee which was kinda strange. Very delicious meal. Now celebrating birthday with family and i'm out.....

So was watching MNF and I saw shades of Leon Lett from this play..... Felt bad for Zach because he lost 10 fantasy points from this play. Great dance by Desean Jackson and everything but it all doesn't count.

Finished Season 2 of Heroes. It was a crazy ending. I need to still watch season 1 but I cannot wait for Season 3 to come out next week. Well I just finished my english paper and I feel so relieved. Prisonbreak wasn't that exciting today.....and that was basically it for today.

Went to Red Robs to celebrate Nevin's Birthday. I was totally full from the Whiskey BBQ Burger.
Went to Golf Mart before Red Robs to get me one of these sexy things ( can't wait to try it out at the golf course.)
Went to the musical on Saturday. It was sick wit it. If you missed the show too bad.
Had a TERRIBLE week in College Football Pick'em (do not want to discuss the record this week.)

Okay so if you have read on Vince's blog, Vince (Beast Killers) has been talking a lot about his big matchup between me and him in fantasy football. This matchup was a lot like USC vs OSU. There was a lot of talk about a big game. National Championship game. YADADADA. USC won 35-3. So both teams G-Check (Me) vs Beast Killers (Vince) showed up this week hoping to win. Unfortunately Beast Killers was OSU. Did not show up. He needs to go back to SJ and refocus on his game plan. There is still MNF but according to my calculations the score is 79-39...... As I have put in my title, YOU CANT KILL A BEAST, but you can kill a horse.....

So today was my coaching debut as a soccer coach. I coach two games and I went 1-1. Not bad for my first day but the game we lost, we lost by 7..... While I was going towards polo fields, there was massive traffic in golden gate park. I was not happy with this traffic and when I look out my window, there was this huge hippie/gay/whatever party. Saw a lot of rainbow, George Bush is gay signs, and you could smell weed from like a mile away.

Yesterday, there was an incident with Chris' syrup, the vinegar, and Norm's Ice Tea. Chris got tortured with every eating utensil. Me, Horse, and Chung were laughing the whole time. Great times.

Looking forward to tomorrow. College Sunday School begins. NFL season begins and the Niners better not lose to the Cardinals.

THEE Oklahoma City Thunder

Yup, the oklahoma city thunder. No longer Seattle SuperSonics. When I first thought about the name, I thought it was pretty cheesy but looking at the other choices (Wind, Marshalls, etc), they were pretty terrible. I do not like Thunder because the Warriors mascot is also named THUNDER. So what will happen to Warrior's Thunder? Change his name to Lightning? Warrior? All I know is that it will affect the Warriors mascot some way.

Coaching Debut

So not many of you know, but I do enjoy soccer. I love to watch English soccer (Chelsea Football Club!) and International Soccer (USA!). So Jeff Hong came up to me and asked if i wanted to coach soccer with him. I said okay and now I am coaching. So we are coaching 6th/7th graders from St. Mary's. My first practice was yesterday and that was pretty fun. Today was my second practice and it was tiring because the kids were not really listening. I'll try to post some pictures of these kids playing soccer because they do some hilarious things on the field. First game is on Saturday and my first game I coach and I have a feeling we are going to get scraped....

So on Sunday, me and Horse talked about how the guys on Soreal Cru had funny faces. If you guys have not noticed you can take a closer look on this blog...I swear the top left one looks like a monkey and good foot looks like a skeleton or something.

Yes, it is college football season.... So most of my day I just sat home and watched a load of college football games. Watching college football made me wish I could go to a big football college like CAL ,UCLA, USC or even SJSU (props for beating UC Davis!) City College football isn't the same and UCI does not even have a football team. Weak Weak.

USC showed why they are the top team in the nation by raping virginia 52-7. Apparently, the power of orange was powerless.

So yesterday, me, chris, eric, and malcolm decided to go to uc berkeley and visit sammy and judy. We decided to go to some bbq fellowship thing which was awesome. During the event, we saw this really tall asian guy. We all agreed that he must play some basketball. So I decided to do some research on this guy and this guy actually does play basketball.

His name is Max Zhang and he is 7-2 and a freshman. Yup watch out Yao Ming....

Disappointment is disappointing

As you can tell by the title, some disappointing things happened today like losing in our championship game. Not cool. Also Lupe Fiasco was performing yesterday at Golden Gate Park and I did not know about it till this morning.
Even through disappointment, there was some good things that happened. Like props to Timmy for winning MIP and the Giants won and the Redeem Team redeemed themselves. Well right now watching the closing ceremonies and this time the fireworks look real.

Quick Blog, Quick Blog.... Haven't blogged in a week because I've been a little busy. Here is a lil rundown of my week:
School started. All my classes are hard.
Have been watching too much tv. ABDC (Super Crew!), Olympics, Little League World Series, etc.

Well right now I'm gonna stay up to catch the USA vs Spain basketball game. If US loses, I will not be happy...

Well I start school 2m and I am NOT looking forward to it. Well today I went to church and Sunday school was pretty fun. We were messing around with stickers and we sticked this girly one on horse's bible. I wish I had a camera at the time because it was hilarious. Had a softball playoff game and we won and I am still tired from that. Nonetheless, CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! Well now I'm just trying to relax and soak in the last minutes before I go to school tomorrow. Yea I can't wait till i go to UC Irvine and get away from the city.

Convo of the day: Well I couldn't blog yesterday so I will use the convo from yesterday because it was that interesting.
So we were at fellowship and one of them says:
All of us are like cookies.
Me: I think I'm a Macadamian Nut Cookie.
Alien and Horse: Nah your a Dark Chocolate.
Me: Horse, I think you are Oatmeal Raisin. Oatmeal Raisin is the nastiest.
Yea, all of us are like cookies....

BEASTIN IT

Today I played a round of golf at Fleming with Tim and played for lunch. I beasted it and got a new low at 45 and won a free lunch at 8 immortals. We got some fried squid over rice and didn't know it costs five bucks now. Speaking of beasts, Michael Phelps beasted it by coming from behind and winning by .01 seconds. Another group of beasts is the US Basketball Team. I expect a 50 pt smash on the Spain basketball team after their gesture on chinese people. Lost all respect for Pau Gasol and Jose Calderon... Yea not cool......

Yup, its that time again! The start of fantasy football season is just around the corner. I have created a fantasy football league for all my friends for recreational purposes and the trash talking. If you would like to join the league just give me a message and I will give you the league id. I will also be giving updates on the fantasy football league through my blog so stay tuned for that.

On another note, after Supreme Soul left ABDC I wasn't really keeping up with the show. I was flipping channels today and it looks like the two final crews are SOREAL CRU and Super Crew. I decided to watch the performances and they were whack especially SOREAL CRU's. Can't vote for either of them. Yea can't wait till next season and hopefully a bay area team will win because this season was weak...

National Lefty Day

A quick blog today. I really don't know what to blog about today. Today is national lefty day and it is a great day because I am a lefty. I didn't know there was such a thing until I tuned into ESPN and they were talking about lefties and announced it was National Lefty Day. I feel unique because they don't have a National Righties Day. Lefties rule! Some famous lefties. Obama! Barry Bonds! All my friends that are lefties! Yea well that is it for now and before I leave I will give you the interesting convo of the day.

So me and vincent (horse) were at our fellowship potluck and we were watching mulan and vince says:

Me: (I refer back to yesterday's quote) Yea, well she is some nice treasure.

So today I really didn't leave the house because I was fixing my xbox 360. A little story about my xbox. I got this xbox for like christmas 2 years ago and it broke like in december of 2007. I fixed it this may and it broke again before i went to camp. So I decided to fix my xbox again. I knew i should of gotten a ps3.....

So I had to take apart my 360 and repair the x clamps. It took me about 3 hrs to fix my xbox 360. I put back my 360 and........

IT WORKED. Yea hopefully my 360 doesn't break again because I don't feel like taking it apart again.

So, since all my church friends are blogging, I decided to blog also because I am that bored. Some things to point out the past couple of weeks:

went to camp
olympics started and michael phelps is beastin.
brett favre got traded
beat the crap out of sunset church in ccu softball to secure a spot in the playoffs

It seems like i missed out on a lot of stuff when i was away from camp but camp was sick and fun.
So there has been some concern about the age of female chinese gymnasts at the olympics. They are listed at the age of 16 but realistically they really look like they are 12 and you can judge for yourself....

and in other news....... fake fireworks.......
