I Love Posters

Saw this a couple of nights ago on ESPN's top 10 plays and thought this was pretty filthy. Maybe cuz i haven't watched a lot of basketball lately. I personally didn't know who Cheikh Samb was but he finally made a name for himself.

I'm glad I'm Chinese

Well happy Chinese New Year to everyone. I had a good Chinese New Year because I was off from school. I feel bad for others that don't get the day off. Chinese New Year is always good because of money. I'm not a greedy guy so I'm glad with how much I get despite the amount being a lot or a little. Caucasians don't get money so that is a good way to look at the situation. Yup, I'm glad I'm asian.

Crew Name: Beat Freaks

Description: Finally — the Ladies Will School the Boys — and Be an Inspiration for Girls Everywhere

First team that is very striking is the return of Team Millennia. They did get robbed last time because the west coast was repped so strong. One change it seems like they might have did is breaking down the thing into regions. Everyone knows the west coast is the best and no midwest team can compete with westside. Another interesting team are the boys from 'bama. They clog (Yes clog). We also got our first international crew all the way from puerto rico and we also got our boxcutters??? Yea well no bay area team this year. Their looks like there is more variety this year in the teams as their is nothing more unique than clogging. Maybe Fly Khicks or Beat Freaks might have a girl as appealing as yuri tag

hmmmm........

How do I sleep?

Really wasn't feeling that cardinals panthers game, so I decided to watch a couple of videos my friend sent me. He sent over some skate fight videos. Initial reaction, I thought it was stupid. When I started watching them, I thought it was pretty entertaining. Warning: there is a lot of profanity in the videos.

This guy has a funny accent and you can tell the kids were scared when he was in their face

This one actually has a fight and the skaters start to back off like pansies.

....and this one the security owns the skater

yea you guys got the idea. skaters usually never win and security probably lost their jobs for fighting.

Whos Jeremy Lin?

So, it was a normal day back from work. I do my same ritual. Go to yahoo.com and yahoo sports. Front page of the sports pages has this headline

Lin leads Harvard to 82-70 upset over No. 17 BC

Everyone knows my love for asian basketball players, Sun Yue, Tall guy from berkeley, etc. So I had to blog about this guy. First, he goes to Harvard, like where every Asian should be going to. Second, he didn't put up no Sun Yue type performance. He put up beastly numbers. He is better than Kobe or LBJ because they can only outplay you. Jeremy Lin is like a double threat, outsmart you or he can outplay you.
Statline: 35 minutes, 11 for 16, 3 boards, 8 dimes, 6 steals, 2 blocks, and fouling out = stats stuffer.
No, I'm not playing fantasy basketball this year, but guys like erik and horse, you better start calling dibs on this guy. This guy is gonna take your fantasy team to the promise land. And on his future, forget the rise of Sun Yue. Its the rise of Jeremy Lin.

Yup, salivate over the future of basketball.

In other news, I will be getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. I will be hungry and I will be in deep pain.

The Finest Suits

"Say no to racism." This is probably the biggest quote in European football. There are global campaigns to prevent racism from happening. As a matter of fact, a resolution I have added is to stop saying racist things. If saying no to racism was promoted earlier in soccer, this probably would have never happened....

Apparently the guy in the white jersey got called a terrorist, due to his middle eastern background. Yea, we should treat everyone equally despite our color of skin or background.

Holla Holla

Since I usually watch youtube videos in my freetime, I will list off my favorite videos I watched in the year of 2008.

Kevjumba vids- Apparently kevjumba is not the friendliest of guys at UC Davis but he still makes some great videos.

Ronaldinho-Touch of Gold. This probably got me to love soccer.

Urban Ninja.

Dance Videos in general. After this year of ABDC, I started to watch dance battles on youtube. Much love to Supreme Soul/Soul Sector. Hopefully there is a bay area crew again this year.

New Year......New Beginnings

2008 had its memorable moments, but I'm looking forward to 2009. Instead of staying at home usually on a new year's eve day, I actually did something. How did I spend my first couple of hours of the New Years? I saw this movie.....
Extremely long movie but really good movie. If you got endurance this movie is great. Hopefully 2009 will be a great year as there are new expectations.

Some resolutions?
  • Raise my GPA sky high
  • Floss everyday
  • Keep this blog for another year?
